Windsor Castle – The Windsor Music Festival Quick Guide

No visit to Windsor would be complete without a tour of Windsor Castle, the largest inhabited castle in the world and the longest-occupied palace in Europe. It is owned by the Occupied Royal Palaces Estate on behalf of the nation and remains a functioning royal home.

The Queen increases to uses the castle as a royal palace and her weekend retreat. Want to know if the Queen is at home? Much has been done to the castle during the Queen’s tenure, not only restoring the building following the devastating fire on 20th November 1992, but to also to transform into one of Britain’s favourite tourist attractions.
